We are currently experiencing difficult times due to the coronavirus (COVID-19).
This virus mainly affects those who have a weakened immune system so try not to be unnecessarily alarmed.
If you need to sneeze or cough, the correct way is to cover your mouth and nose with your elbow. Do not use your hands.
Don't be alarmed if you notice symptoms such as a runny nose, sore throat or a normal cough. The symptoms of this virus are very clear: dry cough, high fever and, sometimes, joint pain. If you have these symptoms it is possible it could be due to the virus, but it could also be a normal flu or a cold so try not to worry unnecessarily. Be sure to follow the instructions of your local authority and health professionals.
Avoid going to the health centre or to the emergency department unless your symptoms are serious.
Sri Swami Purohit offers the following advice to help you during this period:
• Drink plenty of hot water.
• Keep two cloves in your mouth for some time, like a sweet, without swallowing them. Do this 2 or 3 times a day.
• Drink natural orange or lemon juice.
• Wash your hands frecuently with soap, especially when you arrive home after being outside.
• Do the breathing exercise (The Bellows) daily to help strengthen your respiratory system.
The most important advice is to stay calm, drink as much water as possible, preferably hot water, and take care of yourself generally. Keep doing the practice as much as possible.
OUR COURSES AND ACTIVITIES:
Followng the indications of the Royal Decree issued in Spain, we are cancelling all our courses, talks and seminars in Spain until 30th March 2020.
We are hoping to be able to offer our monthly courses (Holistic Yoga and Advanced Kriya Yoga) online while this situation continues, and will be in touch with students over the coming days in order to give them more details.
All other courses are cancelled and we will try to offer them again at a later date.
We hope to go ahead with all our planned activities (retreats, seminars and courses) from 1st April onwards, but we will, of course, be following the official guidelines at all times.
Booking is open for these activities and you may make your reservations in the normal way. However, we would ask you not to make any payments, including the 50€ booking fee, until we have complete assurance that the activity will be going ahead.
