Stainless Steel Neti Pot
The Neti Pot is used frequently in the Ayurvedic tradition to clean the nostrils and throat and avoid colds, mucous and nasal congestion.
It is filled halfway with hot water (making sure it is not so hot that it may burn you) and a little salt. Tilt your head to the right and introduce the spout of the pot into your left nostril, pouring the water in gently.
The water will clean the nostrils flow out through the right nostril. Then repeat the opertation, this time tilting the head to the left and introducing the spout into the right nostril.
This technique can be repeated every day in order to keep the nostrils and throat clean, help breathing and avoid infections and congestion.
It is ideal for cleaning the nostrils before using a neti tube (Also available from our shop)
