THE SCIENCE OF THE MANTRA
According to yogic tradition, there are 49 different vibrations in the universe, and each vibration is omniscient.
A mantra is sound energy connected to higher wisdom.
All mantras and prayers are connected to one of these 49 vibrations.
When a mantra or prayer, of any religion or spiritual tradition, is chanted as instructed by the spiritual master, it can work as a key that unlocks the connection to universal wisdom.
Through the science of the mantra, we can develop concentration, detachment and intuition, transcending the lower mind, which tends to worry about the future.
Concentration allows us to see the essence of any person or substance, discovering their true nature.
Detachment keeps us in the present, allowing us to live moment to moment, and leaving the past in the past.
Intuition is a higher faculty; whenever we are desperate to know something, such as in a moment of crisis, intuition can provide a road map of the future. Truth and certainty, rather than hope, will free us from anxiety and insecurity.
In this retreat Swami Purohit will teach you how to connect to your higher mind, making the right decisions for both your present and your future. Through the science of the mantra, you will learn how to live with clarity and freedom, in perfect alignment with your surroundings.
No previous experience is needed. The exercises are apt for all ages and fitness levels.
Please bring comfortable clothes and a yoga mat or similar.

COURSE DETAILS:
The retreat will begin at 5pm on Thursday 12th June 2025. We request that you arrive at 4pm to allow time for check in.
Sri Swami Purohit will give a welcome talk and the first session of the retreat before dinner is served, at 8.30pm.
On all other days the activities will start at 7am with a yoga session (no experience needed), before breakfast at 9am.
Sri Swami Purohit will continue his teachings from 12am to 2.30pm
Lunch will be served at 2.30pm and then students can enjoy some free time until 5pm, when teachings begin again until 8.30pm. There will also be a short break mid afternoon.
The retreat will finish after lunch on Sunday 15th June.
The price includes full board accommodation (all meals are vegetarian and homemade) and all the activities with Sri Swami Purohit.
